What is a cinematic story ad?

What do I get in the €99 ad, and how is it made?

A cinematic story ad is a short film for your brand: 25 to 50 seconds, vertical, with a story rather than a product list. Think of a small scene with a turn in it and your business in the right place, not a slideshow with a logo at the end.

How one gets made

It follows the same steps a small studio would, done by agents:

  1. A story idea. Three concepts are proposed around a real insight about your customers, in a tone that rotates from ad to ad (from calm to tense, light to serious), so your ads do not all feel the same.
  2. A script and a shot list. A writer agent turns the chosen idea into shots with timing, camera and light, subtitles and title cards, the music plan and up to two spoken lines.
  3. Checks before any footage. The plan is validated (safe margins, subtitle size and length) and a separate reader checks that the story still makes sense from the shots alone.
  4. Keyframes, then footage. A reference frame fixes the look and the characters, each shot gets its own frame, and a video model animates each shot. A reviewer compares the frames with the reference and can order a corrected one.
  5. Sound and assembly. Music, ambience, sound effects and voice are generated, levelled and mixed, then titles and subtitles are laid on top.
  6. A last look. The Critic reviews the copy like any other post, and the finished ad arrives in your queue for approval.

Why it always carries an AI mark

The footage comes from generative video models, so every cinematic ad carries a visible “AI generated” mark, a line on the end card and a line in the caption, in the ad’s language. That follows the EU AI Act’s transparency rules for realistic generated video, and it is simply honest. More in Do AI-made posts need a label?

How it differs from a hyperframe

A hyperframe is motion design: typography, shapes and animation, built in code, with no filmed or generated footage. A cinematic ad is live-action style footage with a story. Hyperframes are good for explaining; cinematic ads are good for making someone feel something about your brand.

Where it is included

Up to 4 cinematic ads a month are included in the Daily plan. On the other paid plans, you can add one for €99 (excluding VAT). See pricing.
